Special Projects

WELCOME TO PLATFORM HOME, where creativity and inspiration come together to transform spaces into uniquely captivating experiences. We began our journey in Los Angeles, as a concept store under the name, The Platform Experiment. Founded by Sarah Brady in 2010, our evolution from an experimental vision to a distinguished design firm reflects our unwavering commitment to creating interiors that are both sophisticated and personal.

With fifteen years of experience in home staging and design, Sarah Brady brings a wealth of expertise to Platform Home. Her design journey began in New York, where she worked with a trend forecasting company based in Paris. This role honed her ability to detect subtle design trends and nuances, profoundly influencing how she looks at the world and as a result how she approaches design. Being a native Californian, Sarah's calming, sophisticated California style is deeply rooted in nature and all its organic beauty; muted colors, earthy palettes and a hit of whimsy sings her song. Sarah now splits her time between Austin and Los Angeles and is always exploring new inspiration along her path.

Platform Home's aesthetic is also deeply influenced by Sarah's global travels and diverse experiences. Mexico, Japan, and Scandinavia inspire her projects, creating a rich tapestry of designs that are layered, warm and well-rounded, yet elevated and lived in. Sarah prioritizes collaboration with her local collective of artisans and designers and relies on her amazing team to create Platform Home's signature interiors. Our designs are characterized by a modern craft aesthetic eclectically curated; mixing with fineness and subtlety, a collected look is achieved. A meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful accents breathe life into every home we design.

At Platform Home, we believe every space has a story to tell. Let us help you create a beautiful platform for living, where every design element reflects your unique personality and style. After all, Sarah's favorite Sunday morning includes a cup of coffee and a good interior design book—because she understands that the home must be a retreat, now more than ever.
